Recently, we had a client reach out to us with the below email:

Your team has my Google Adwords dialled in! So far, we have 10 transactions this quarter all from Adwords totalling $7.5 million in sales, $180K gross commission and $86K net this quarter. We have another 20-30 very active prospects and we are well-positioned to take advantage of the market as soon as we see inventory rise and prices stabilize. 

For obvious reasons, we were thrilled to receive this update. With permission from the client, we dug into his stats a bit further and this is what we found.

The below stats are from a time frame of January 11, 2021 (when the client started with us) until March 31, 2022.

Total Number of Leads Generated: 2,086

Total Investment (management + advertising spend): $33,500.00

Total Transactions: 17

First Deal Closed: March 2021 (3 months after launch of campaign)

Net Commission: $172,000.00

What is really important to note, however, is that 10 of those 17 deals have come in the last 4 months and the client has 20-30 prospects lined up! This is why we also preach to our clients that real estate PPC is a marathon, not a sprint. Many of the leads we generate for you won’t become clients for several months, but when they do, look out! You will be sending us the same type of email.

This client was also kind enough to share how his team follows up with leads:

The agents make three attempts to contact the lead as soon as they receive it or as soon as possible. They leave a message on the third call if they don’t respond, then send two text messages and an email. They repeat this for two additional days. If they are unable to connect, they mark them as cold and set them up on the Buyer workflow. I have them monitor leads that come back to the site every day and they call, text and email asking if they’d like to see the property they looked at or favourited. They look up every lead in Exact Dial if there is no phone number or email. We try to figure out the lead’s communication style (text, email, phone) as soon as possible.
